Our purpose in practice
Our work begins with helping families learn and make thoughtful choices. Insurance is one service we offer when it fits—not the reason every conversation starts.

Dorian & Kiera FeltonWhy Legacy Vault exists
Legacy Vault Financial was built to help overlooked and underserved families understand their options and steward what they have with purpose. Education is our starting point—not a lead-in to a sale. Licensed insurance services are available when they fit a family’s needs and our capacity to serve them well.
Before founding LVF, Dorian Felton served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked in public service. Now studying economics at the University of South Florida, he brings that same commitment to helping families understand their options and make informed decisions.
As a husband and father, Dorian knows that financial decisions reach beyond one person. Alongside his wife and co-founder, Kiera, he is building LVF to strengthen families and help them leave the next generation better prepared.
Our Christian faith shapes how we serve: with honesty, care for our neighbors, and stewardship of what has been entrusted to us.
“This isn’t just about money. It’s about purpose, protection, and peace of mind.”
Life insurance services are available in FL, GA, NC, NY and TX. Educational services are available nationwide.

Learn the basics first
Start with learning, not a product decision. If insurance becomes part of your questions, these basics can help you understand the conversation.

No. Our newsletter and educational resources stand on their own. You do not need to become an insurance client to learn with us or submit a story for Legacy Ledger. Insurance guidance is a separate service, considered based on needs, fit, and availability.
Term life provides coverage for a set period and is generally more affordable upfront. Whole life is permanent coverage that can build guaranteed cash value. The right fit depends on the job the policy needs to do, your budget, and your timeline.
Not always. Some policies require an exam, while simplified-issue and no-exam options may be available depending on the applicant, carrier, coverage amount, and product.
Eligible policyowners may be able to access cash value through policy loans. Loans accrue interest, and unpaid balances generally reduce available cash value and the death benefit.
Keep learning. Keep building.
