My Financial Foundation
Build a Clear Financial Foundation Before You Make Another Move
A guided planning engagement designed to organize your finances, improve cash flow, and give you a clear, confident path forward—without pressure or guesswork.
Know exactly where you stand today and chart your next steps with precision.
What the Foundation Plan Covers
The Foundation Plan is a structured financial planning engagement designed to help you understand exactly where you stand, what matters most, and what steps make sense next—before committing to long-term decisions or products.
This is not a generic consultation or a sales call. It is a guided process built to replace uncertainty with clarity and direction.
What You Can Expect
When you enroll in the Foundation Plan, we work together to:
Organize your full financial picture into a clear, understandable snapshot
Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies that may be holding you back
Improve cash flow awareness and decision-making
Clarify priorities so future moves are intentional, not reactive
You will leave this engagement knowing where you are, what needs attention, and what paths are available—without pressure to act before you’re ready.
Education First. Decisions Second.
Education is a core part of the Foundation Plan.
If relevant to your goals, we may discuss topics such as:
Financial protection and risk management
Liquidity and long-term planning principles
How certain tools (including life insurance) can function within a broader strategy
These conversations are designed to inform what has been discussed by family offices for generations.
About Life Insurance
Life insurance may be discussed if it is appropriate to your situation and objectives. We will go in detail as to why life insurance is important and how it can be a meaningful part of changing your family’s trajectory for the better. We also dive deeper on how the wealthy use life insurance for more than just the death benefit.
Insurance is not required to participate in the Foundation Plan.
If, after completing the planning phase, you decide that insurance makes sense, policy design, underwriting, and implementation are handled separately and only with your consent.
What This Plan Is and Is Not
This plan is:
A paid, professional planning engagement
Focused on clarity, structure, and next steps
Designed to help you move forward with confidence
This plan is not:
A product bundle
An obligation to purchase insurance or investments
Ongoing advisory or asset management
-
“Where am I really right now?”
This section creates a clear, organized snapshot of your current financial position.
We review income flow, obligations, assets, protection gaps, and financial stress points to help you see the full picture and not just pieces of it. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure why progress feels slow. This step replaces assumptions with facts.
You’ll gain clarity around:
Cash flow patterns and pressure points
Existing coverage or lack of protection
Areas where money may be leaking or underutilized
Outcome:
A grounded understanding of where you stand today, so future decisions are based on reality and not guesswork. -
“What needs to be protected before I move forward?”
This section focuses on education around financial protection and risk.
We walk through the role protection plays in a strong financial foundation and discuss what risks may exist if key areas are unaddressed. This may include conversations around life insurance, emergency planning, and income protection because most people are one emergency away from financial ruin. The sudden stop of the main income (from death or becoming incapacitated) can lead to desperate decisions or even poverty for generations.
Insurance is not required as part of this plan.
If protection strategies are relevant, they are discussed conceptually so you understand:
Why protection matters
What options exist
How protection fits into long-term stability
Outcome:
Confidence and understanding so any future protection decisions are informed, intentional, and pressure-free. -
“What do I do next?”
This section brings everything together.
You’ll receive a clear summary of what we’ve uncovered, what matters most, and what paths make sense moving forward. This is where confusion turns into direction.
We outline:
Key priorities based on your situation
Logical next steps (short- and long-term)
Which decisions should come first and which can wait
This is not an implementation phase. It’s a decision framework designed to help you move forward with confidence.
Outcome:
A personalized roadmap you can act on immediately or revisit when you’re ready. -
“Ongoing guidance for those who want support beyond the Foundation.”
For some families, the Foundation Plan provides all the clarity they need to move forward independently. For others, clarity creates momentum and momentum benefits from ongoing guidance.
Stewardship is an optional continuation for clients who want help maintaining structure, accountability, and direction as life and finances evolve.
This may include:
Periodic reviews of your financial structure
Guidance as priorities, income, or family needs change
Support navigating decisions without pressure or product dependency
Stewardship is never required and is only discussed after the Foundation Plan is complete.
Outcome:
A trusted relationship built on clarity, not transactions. Available if and when you decide you want it.
What to Expect After You Begin
Step 1 — Orientation
After purchase, you’ll receive a short intake to help us understand your current situation, goals, and concerns. This ensures our time together stays focused, efficient, and tailored to what matters most to you.
Step 2 — Guided Conversation
We meet to walk through your financial picture in plain English so no jargon, no pressure. This is a guided planning conversation designed to bring clarity, identify gaps, and help you understand your options, not to sell products.
Step 3 — Written Summary
You’ll receive a clear written summary of what we discussed, where you stand today, and the paths available moving forward so you’re not left guessing or relying on memory.
Step 4 — Optional Next Steps
If additional planning, life insurance, or ongoing stewardship makes sense, those options are presented separately and only after the Foundation Plan is complete. Any next steps are entirely optional and always at your discretion.
